Hundreds of people came to greet a bronze Che, the work of the sculptor Andrés Zemeri, which reproduces the expression of the guerilla leader in the famous photograph by Korda and measures four meters high, weighting three tones.
The sculpture has been possible thanks to the contribution of more than fourteen thousand people, who donated around seventy-five thousand keys and small bronze objects which were melted by the artists and turned into a tribute to the Heroic Guerilla man.
The transportation of the work has been the introduction of the celebrations that are being prepared in Rosario starting on the thirteenth, with concerts, conferences and presentation of documents on the life of the legendary guerilla man.
