Among other questions, the author tries to answer in his work, what has made possible a resistance of halve a century of struggles against the United States ?, said the Granma newspaper.
It also deals with the fact that the United States is the only country that has gone from colony to empire in just a century and a short while afterwards appears as the head of hegemonic power all over the world.
He refers how Cuba, separated by 90 miles of the U.S. coast, went in a little more than 60 years from colony to neo-colony and then towards socialism, a unique experience in the world.
It also deals with the similarities and differences of the Cuban phenomenon with respect to other processes, including the Venezuelan one.
PhD in Historical Sciences and main joint professor of Havana University , Arboleya Cervera, talked about this text edited by Ocean Sur, in the group Entre libros y amigos (Among books and friends).
