Cuba and Japan Explores Tourism Market

In the meeting, carried out at the Cuban mission in Tokyo, Penichet highlighted the characteristics of Cuba as a tourist destination, for regions and the services offered by travel agencies Trips Cubanacán and Havanatur to the Japanese visitors.
Japanese Earth, Infrastructure and Transport Deputy Minister Midori Matsushima, in charge of tourism matters, considered there is a potential in the Caribbean island to receive tourism from Japan.
Matsushima revealed that the Japanese government will increase the total emission of travelers to the island.
The meeting was attended by 52 representatives of 34 travel agencies, touroperators and airlines, and Cuban authorities also announced the presence of a representation of Havana in the next Japanese most important tourist event, the "JATA World Travel Fair."
