A wire from the Cuban News Agency, dated in Las Tunas, points out that the facility counts on laboratories that work in correspondence with the results obtained at the consults of genetic risks, ultrasounds and clinical genetics.

In the investigations, this territorial center receives the support of its similar ones in each one of the eight municipalities of the territory, about 690 kilometers to the east of Havana.

The institution has had a very important influence in the decrease of the children mortality rate in the province that is below the three deceased for each thousand born alive.
