They recalled that Spain, Canada and Venezuela are the countries with the largest presence in Cuba with 234 investment associations.
For his part, Ramon Marin, Deputy Minister for Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation, said that in the first semester of 2008, seven new businesses were approved: four with Venezuela, two with Spain and one with China.
The 12 permanent working commissions of the Cuban National Assembly (Parliament), constituted with a provisional nature last May, were in session on Monday and Tuesday at Havana’s Convention Center.
