In the letter, Rivera said he could not attend the presentation of the book published by publishing house Makarios, which he heads.
He pointed out that the book called “Eduardo Rosillo; Soul of Popular Music” constitutes an action of love and solidarity with the Cuban people, its culture and a humble tribute with gratitude.
The book was written by Ivon Peñalver picks the most important moments in the life of this Cuban radio announcer, born in Songo la Maya, Santiago de Cuba, 546.9 miles away from Havana.
Rosillo, nearly 80 years old, shines in a book picking a transcendental stage of radio transmissions in Cuba, with more than 50 years of radio transmission work.
