Cuba will share its experiences on energy saving as part of an agreement signed by the Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Elio Savon, and Mohamed Ibn Chambas, President of ECOWAS.

Savon signed the accord on behalf of Yadira Garcia, Cuban Minister of the Basic Industry (Mining and Energy). This accord will bring the knowledge and ideas, which have proved effective in the Caribbean archipelago, to West Africa.

A Cuban expert is already in Nigeria, where he is assessing the most favourable ways to start working on the agreement.
