According to Jonathan Watts, a top executive with the organization, Cuba’s cultural heritage attracts Canadians, not just because of the values inherent to each and every artistic expression, but due to the humanistic, ethical values of Cuban society as a whole.

He added that his organization appreciates “Cuban authorities’ great receptiveness to our requests, especially authorities with the Ministry of Culture, the National Center for Arts Schools and the Centro Nacional de Música de Concierto (National Center for Concert Music).”

Artistic training is the focus of one of the main programs developed by the organization over the past 20 years.
