Experts consider Carvajal's performance as a key element when training marathon runners.

On this occasion, San Antonio de los Baños's Runners' Club, which was named after Félix Carvajal, celebrated its 20th anniversary. The Club organizes competitions, including a 10-km marathon race.

Precisely, 109 athletes from all over the country competed in the 2008 race.
