Cuban Vice president Carlos Lage will attend today the signing ceremony of documents for Honduras" entry to the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), to be held in Tegucigalpa.

Lage, leading the Cuban delegation, traveled accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister Yiliam Jimenez, the island"s ambassador to Honduras Juan Carlos Hernandez, as well as the government"s other officials, Granma newspaper reported.

Cuba"s participation in this ceremony reaffirms the government"s commitment with the ALBA, its political foundations and the integrationist essence of this mechanism.
