About 350 Cubans and foreigners are so far expected to participate as a competitors and guests in an event that includes different kind of meeting and talks on the preparation of cocktails.

The meeting names Cup Santiago Policastro "Pichin," honoring an Argentinean barman, 92, and main entertainments manager of those competitions.

The assembly will also include the Friendship Cup "Edward Rodriguez in Memoriam," honoring the already late Puerto Rican barman, and the National Championship Cocktails "Fabio Delgado in Memoriam."

The meeting, to be concluded August 31, is sponsored by the International Bartenders Association (IBA), with 50 years of founded, the Cuban Tourism Ministry, and the Havana Club International S.A. company, which distribute the well-known rum of this island in the world.
