The concert took place in the Chapel of the Paseo Buen Pastor, an ideal setting for highlight the quality of the voices. The newspaper La Voz del Interior, when it wrote a review of the performance, made evident the masterly “voices that rise to the sky in order to recreate Cuban choral music, that caries the Caribbean and rhythm in its blood and that were brought closer thanks to the work of Maldino.”
Apart from sounds of a marked Afro-Cuban lineage, there were two of the greatest artists from the Caribbean island, who could not be left out of this noble repertoire, Silvio Rodríguez and Pablo Milanés, who have legions of followers in Argentina .
