Using as a premise that community work is the base for artistic development anywhere; the Cuban artist organized a cultural exchange with children, youths and adults in the Limon Indanza Park and is planning a ceramicworkshop with locals of the area next January.
Two personal exhibitions were inaugurated in the middle of the Amazonian region, one with pictures taken from Cuba and another with drawings of faces and customs of the inhabitants of Limón Indanza.
Félix Madrigal is working in Ibarra city, capital of the Imbabura province, on three monuments to Ecuadorian ex-presidents, two of them dedicated to General Eloy Alfaro in office 1895-1901 and 1906-1911 and the other will be dedicated to José M. Velasco Ibarra who was in office for five terms.
