Delegates will discuss on Saturday the anti-Cuban policy of the US government and the role Cubans living abroad play in the defense of the Caribbean nation.
The case of the Five will be discussed during a panel attended by Irma Sehwerert, mother of Rene Gonzalez, one of the Five, and a special declaration for their freedom and against terrorism will be submitted to approval.
Over 600 delegates from Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua will exchange experiences on work in favor of Cuba.
There will also be presentations about the efforts of Cuban doctors and teachers in Nicaragua and discussions on support for the Island's recovery after being affected by hurricanes Gustav, Hanna and Ike.
