A march is also planned by the Cuban embassy in the French capital to demand the freedom for Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino and Rene Gonzaez, known internationally as the Cuban Five.
In Prague, participants at the International Meeting of the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany sent a message of protest to the US embassy in Prague, demanding freedom for the five Cuban antiterrorists.
In the capital city of Timor Leste, Dili, a rally called for freedom for the five Cuban antiterrorists incarcerated in the United States. The gathering was organized by members of the Freedom for the Five Committee and representatives from diverse sectors including the Lucha Unida NGO.
In New Zealand, residents protested in front of the US embassy to demand freedom for the five Cuban antiterrorists on the 10th anniversary of their unjust and arbitrary detention in the United States.
In Pyongyang, North Korea, an official act took place to inaugurate an international day of support for the freedom of the five Cuban antiterrorists with the participation of Minister of Education Kim Yong Jin, president of the Solidarity with Cuba Committee.
The vice president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship (ICAP), Enrique Roman, was also present, after taking part in activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea.
