The solidarity gesture took place at the Cuban Embassy in Beijing and was thanked by Cuban Ambassador to China, Carlos Miguel Pereira.

Yongwen said that the donation is a contribution for the recovery of the Caribbean country, severely damaged by the passing of the two meteors barely two weeks apart from each other.

Cuban diplomats and Yutong representatives attended the meeting, where the executive declared that this contribution is a sample of the friendship between Cuba and China.

Ambassador Pereira highlighted the fact that China was among the first countries to offer Cuba help, showing that “a friend in need is a friend indeed”. He also thanked other Chinese companies that, like Yutong, expressed their wishes to assist Cuba in this difficult period.
