Cuba’s squad to the Beijing Olympic Games will participate in the team National tournament to run from November 15 to the 2 in eastern Santiago de Cuba province. Cuba´s boxing commissioner Jose Barrientos said that this decision is part of the Cuban training for the Moscow World Cup, and explained that those in the squad that don’t belong to the qualified provinces be part of the three reinforcement assigned to every finalist team.

That will be one of the novelties of this tournament which will also be different from last year’s on the qualifying format in three geographic areas, one see a piece and one single round.
