Cuban Delegation to Iberoamerican Congress on Culture in Mexico City

Directors, actors, scriptwriters, producers and critics will discuss, along with culture ministers of the region, about topics such as the promotion of cinema and audiovisual works as well as the importance of cinema for the social life and cultural development of peoples.
The Cuban delegation to the meeting includes musician Jose Maria Vitier, writer Reinaldo Gonzalez, actors Jorge Perugorria and Daisy Granados, and the vice president of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Arts and Industry (ICAIC), Pablo Pacheco.
Also on the list are filmmakers Manuel Perez, Aram Vidal and Tupac Pinilla as well as Ivan Giroud, Director of the International Festival of the New Latin American cinema of Havana, and Alquimia Peña, Director of the Foundation of the New Latin American Cinema.
The Cuban delegation to the event is headed by Culture vice minister and president of the Cuban Music Institute Abel Acosta (image).
