The diplomat spoke of the importance of the award in a world where journalism is everyday worse.
José Coco López is a renowned radio and TV journalist from Rosario. He thanked Cuba, its government and UPEC for the award and said that it reinforces his convictions.
Carlos Aznares is the director of the "Resumen Latinoamericano" magazine and hosts weekly TV and radio shows. He thanked the Cuban people and government, whom he said have always been very supportive of the people of Latin America.
