The Italian Movie Festival in Cuba, to start next Tuesday till October 19, will pay homage to renowned Italian filmmaker Paolo Virzi This Tuesday the Riviera movie theater in Cuba’s capital city will show Virzi’s latest film ¨Tutta la vita davanti¨(The entire life ahead), a multiple award winner, including two Golden Globe Awards, and of which Virzi has said it is a continuation of his ¨La bella Vita¨ (Beautiful Life), also included in this exhibition.

Virzi pointed out that the Cuban audience is pretty much identified with the Italian movies and underscored his wish of making a movie related to the Caribbean nation.

Gaetano Blandini, general director for Cinema of Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Goods and Activities, commented on his interest of strengthening the cooperation bonds between the two nations, and announced that his country will become the door to the European market for the Cuban movie industry.
