After an intensive working agenda in Spain, Perez Roque held talks in Paris with Deputies Alfred Almont, president of the France-Cuba Friendship Group at the French Parliament, Patrick Balkany, and Jean-Frederic

Poisson, all of them UMP members.

Also on his list is to meet with French senators and politicians, among them Olivier Besancenot, former presidential candidate for the Revolutionary Communist League, the European Union (EU) Troika, and his

counterpart Bernard Kouchner at the Quai d'Orsay, venue of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Talks will take place in the presence of Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg, because his country will lead the EU in January, and European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid Louis Michel.

 Perez Roque's agenda here also includes a meeting with Danielle Mitterrand, widow of former French President Francois Mitterrand, among other figures.
