Montañez is part of a group of 40 artists from Mexico, Spain, Brazil, US and Canada, that will arrive to this province to bring support to the victims of the hurricane.

The group is made up of poets, musicians, writers, theatre people, and lecturers, and will visit some of the towns that were battered the most, like Gibara, Banes, Antilla and Rafael Freyre, all of them located in the northern coast.

Besides of spending time with the hurricane victims, the artists will exhibit works, will give conferences and read poetry in galleries, squares and theatres in this city.
