The President of the Cuban Society and Ibero American Pediatric Surgeons Association, Rafael Trinchet will attend the congress along Doctors Vivian Vialat and Miguel Gonzalez, both from Havana city, according to the Invasor newspaper digital edition.

The group is also made up of Sergio Luis Gonzalez, from Cienfuegos; Blanca Rosa Rodriguez, from Ciego de Avila, and Claudio Puentes, from Santiago de Cuba.

They were selected according to their academic categories and medical results.

The Cuban professionals will give several lectures on topics like acute abdomen pathology and abdominal tumors.

The event will take place at the Caracas Metropolitan District Medical College, and it is in line with the new social structure that benefits the Venezuelan people.

Pediatric trauma, hypertension, neonatal surgery and sepsis in Pediatric surgery are among the topics to be discussed.
