Mexican MD Eusebio Perez said that the inappropriate handling of pain has severe physical, psycho-emotional and socio-economic effects on the patient, his relatives and public health services.
He stressed the usefulness of anticonvulsive and antidepressant medication especially in the treatment of neuropathies.
