Drager and Siemens Company has operated since 2000 in Cuba, where it has installed medical equipment in hospitals.
The anesthesia and mechanical ventilation equipment exhibited at the congress included the Zeus Infinity Empowered, which will hit the market in 2009.
B. Braun, which produces anesthesia and intensive care equipment, has operated in the Caribbean Island over the past two decades.
The German firm presented equipment for clinical nutrition, as well as infusion and perfusion pumps, many of which have been installed at Cuban hospitals.
