The plant is expected to produce 500 tons of yeast this year to be used as feed for pigs.

Works including the adaptation of the plant to function using accompanying gas from nearby oil wells, and the modification of the industrial pump to prevent a leakage of water, which is enriched with nutrients and used as a productive alternative.

The factory was built more than four decades ago. Constructing and equipping the plant cost nearly ten million dollars.
