The movie that celebrates the 63 anniversary of the United Nations Organization (UNO) was screened in the cinema 23 y 12, of this capital city. It is made up of eight short movies that make reference to a similar number of objectives set for this millennium by the 191 countries.

Among the important moviemakers, the German Wim Wenders recreated the theme of world solidarity for development, Jane Campion, from New Zealand, dealt with that of protection of the environment and Abderrahmane Sissako from Mauritania represented the eradication of hunger and extreme poverty.

The Mexican Gael García Bernal worked around universal achievement of compulsory primary teaching and the North American Gus Van Sant, made it about the decrease in infant mortality rates.

Also, the French Gaspar Noe showed in the big screen the fight against AIDS and other diseases, while the Indian Mira Fair selected gender equality and the Dutch Jan Kounen, the health of the mother.

Every director, with their own perspective, offers us a fiction story related to the UNO platform for the human improvement.
