The Cuban delegation will accompany artists from Belize, Honduras, the Dominican Republic and several Mexican states with a distictive Caribbean identity mark, as Veracruz, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
Such festival, previously held in 1986 and 1987, promotes rapprochement among Caribbean countries by means of their artistic performances.
Authorities of the Island of Women expressed, during a recent visit to this city, their interest in strengthening cultural ties and appreciating Cuban experiences in saving and reviving traditions and values of the national cultural heritage.
