The program of activities also includes concerts and a panel on the history of Cuban literature by writer Reinaldo González. There will also be an international colloquium to debate around 150 papers -- some of them dedicated to the work of renowned Cuban writers like Alejo Carpentier, Eliseo Diego and José Lezama Lima, among others.
Sponsored by the Cuban Institute of Literature and Linguistics, the Institute of Book and the Federation of University Students (FEU), the book fair gives continuity to a program begun last year, aimed at encouraging people to read.
