The nomenclature, which represents letters, numbers, orthographic and mathematical signs, and musical notes, is used by millions of visually-impaired people all over the world.
ANCI National Director Carlos Ramirez told the National News Agency (AIN) that other activities would be held to remember the life and work of the prominent French blind teacher.
Cuba teaches the Braille system at special schools and in more than 100 libraries.
