The 1959 triumph of the Revolution turned Cuban theatre into an essential space for artistic, social and human research, bringing together such concepts as revolution and change, audience and people, art and society, theatre and nation.

The festival will serve to access and celebrate the huge contributions by Cuban theatre masters, artists and promoters who showed the paths followed over the past 50 years and which have earned Cuban theatre, and culture in general great international prestige.

The event’s program, which includes adults and children’s theatre, as well as theatre dance, is aimed at promoting solidarity and integration among the world’s peoples.
