The first part of the concert featured Cuban Alicia Perea who played works written by renowned Cuban musicians Ernesto Lecuona, Carlos Fariñas and Jose Maria Vitier, as posted by the Cuban Foreign Ministry's website.

Alicia Perea is the cultural attaché of the Cuban delegation to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). At the end of the concert, she said international solidarity with the Cuban Revolution was a very valuable incentive for the Cuban people.

The second part of the concert, featured French singers Aini Iften and Luis de la Carrasca, actors Serge Barbuscia and Nicolas Allwrigt and accordionist Patrick Licasale.

As a result of links between the French region of Avignon and the Cuban central province of Cienfuegos, a delegation of the France-Cuba- Vanclouse Association is planning a visit to that part of the island.
