The main organizers are the High Studies Centers of both, Cuba and Italy, in coordination with other cultural institutions, reports the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
Participants on the Italian side included María Emanuela Piamontese, Director of the Department of Philology, Linguistics and Literature at the Sapienza University of Rome and Professor Marina Zancan, President of the de la Elvira Badaracco Foundation of Milan.
Also on hand were Professor Mónica Cristina Storini, who has been commissioned to edit Alba de Céspedes’s unfinished novel ‘Con gran amor’, and Luisa Finocchi, an expert with the Arnoldo and Alberto Mondadori Foundation of Milan.
The program of activities to mark the 100th birthday anniversary of the writer of Cuban origin will include congresses, conferences, workshops, artistic presentations and the edition of Alba de Céspedes’s literary works.
