The presentation by Gonzalez, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology of Cuba, was part of a series of activities that are taking place in Luxemburg on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

During the event, participants discussed and exchanged about the achievements of Cuba in the health sector and they acknowledged the advances of the Cuban Revolution in the field of medical assistance and the solidarity of the Cuban health professionals.

According to a note published in the website of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of groups in solidarity with Cuba and the public in general attended the lecture.

At the end of the event, members of the NGO “Cuba-Luxemburg Solidarity” reiterated their commitment to continue cooperating with the Cuban health system
