Tennis International Federation Will Sponsor Two Female Tournaments in Cuba

Up to the moment almost a hundred of players from 30 countries have registered. Among them there stands out the Belgian 24-year-old Lavinia Lobbinger, who exhibits notable performances in their last three campaigns.
The first tournament will start next Saturday in the fields of the Western Miramar hotel in the capital. It would develop in two sessions, from 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Finals are set for December 5 and 6, Friday and Saturday respectively.
Cubans Yamile Fors, Yenisleydis Calaña y Misleidys Diaz will play in the main group; meanwhile other six Cuban athletes will look for their qualification. They are Yanet Blanco, Lumay Diaz, Jessica Gomez, Giselle Nodarse, Hisaime Mendez and Lilien Pacheco.
These tournaments are followed by other five of the same kind, celebrated in Mexico and they will put an end to the calendar of the region in the present year.
During the last day Yanet Nuñez retirement will be celebrated,she has been national champion several times and one of our better figures in the international field.
