The own author indicated that it is a message about the “current problems of the human beings, regarding the lack of communication, the need of unification of the thoughts, it means no to segregation, it is a slogan, a song to unity of people who are many times alone”.
The new in this proposal are, according to Bejarano, the materials used: “through a work with resin, fibber glass and paper pulp it is created the dialogue between the men and its reflection about life”.
The opening coincided with the donation made by the creator to the Alejo Carpentier Gallery of a press as well as other materials to reproduce engravings. He commented that it is important for the central Cuban province to re open after many years a graphic workshop.
The exhibition La levedad de lo eterno is part of the program of the Fidelio Ponce de León Hall, made between the 11 and the 22 of November in which the author was the president of the jury.
Agustín Bejarano is graduated from the Higher Arts Institute and has won several awards, especially in the engraving field, with a big number of personal exhibition in Cuba and outside and has also take part in different collective exhibitions.
