The agreement was signed by Cuban Education Vice Minister Rolando Forneiro, and Patrick Baranger, president of the Confederation of Rectors of France's Teacher Training Institute.

Forneiro said the accord is aimed at providing advisory and support French language teaching in Cuba and Spanish in France, including training of teachers.

He added that France now hosts the 4th meeting of rectors of Cuban Pedagogical Institutes and French counterparts to consolidate exchange.

The Cuban delegation is made up of seven sectors, one official of the Cuban Education Ministry, and Vice Minister Forneiro.
