The first stage of the work will span from Honorato del Castillo to Maceo Street, although it will finally reach José María Agramante Street, by the old Rueda Hotel.

Reddy Medina Rosales, construction works chief performer, explained  that they are now creating drainage conditions, and then will go on with the foundations and the placing of tile and paviprint cover.Paviprint is a new technology which allows printing, texturing and coloring of concrete or any other pavement prepared with this material.

Housing Construction Enterprise and other entities work long hours to make this yearning of the people from Ciego de Avila come true. The gardens, pergolas and benches, to be placed in a  short time, will be an important step on the way to this cherished goal.

Evens López Carvajal, general designer, stated that from the architectural point of view, the boulevard has been conceived taking into account modern trends, to contrast the style prevailing in that sector of Independencia Street, but keeping its essence as a whole.

The use of colors, will contribute to highlight the arquitecture of valuable buildings on account of the contrast of red, blue, green, purple and other colors, stated López Carvajal.
