The band's manager Bob Pover, thanked Cuban authorities and specially those in Holguin for allowing the band to play for its people, which have been gradually recovering from the effects of the category-three hurricane.
This is a cultural exchange between our peoples, said Pover, who donated more than one hundred musical instruments to the art schools in Holguin, valued at 200,000 dollars. The instruments were collected in Montreal, his city of origin.
Doris and Ses Roberts was founded four years ago with eight musicians, and has already launched their first album named "Queen Kong."
