The 13th Cubadisco International Fair, to be held from May 16th till the 24th will have Puerto Rico as Guest of Honor and will be dedicated to Music and Children

The event’s Organizing Committee will cover a broader scope, which will include alternative produced music, reports the Cubarte website. It will also add a new category to its awards, Prize to the Composer, to the author of a concert piece included on one of the event’s nominated discs.

This International Fair, created in 1997, is organized by the Cuban Music Institute, and it brings together all the Caribbean nation’s disc industry production and is the favourite showcase to exhibit what is being done in this field.
