According to the schedule of the Bureau of Conventions of Cuba, several meetings on medicine, sports and sciences will be held this year.

Those events include a conference on Informatics, the Havana Cigar Festival, the International Book Fair, the Meeting on Globalization and the Caribbean Festival, among others.

Incentive trips increased in 2008, so Cuba has become a major destination for that tourist modality.

The island nation also offers online reservations to participate in congresses and meetings thanks to the initiative of the travel agency Solways.
