Two of the excursions are visits to the historical center of the city of Camagüey, Cuba’s third largest city in importance, a part of which was recently declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
On of the excursions takes place during Wemilere Festival, at San Juan de Dios Square, National Monument, with a show in charge of the Folkloric Set of Camaguey, this is also enjoyed by local villagers.
Santa Lucia de Cuba Beach, counting with four hotel facilities, was seriously hit in September by hurricane Ike, but a fast answer from the workers of the sector and its inhabitants allowed an efficient and fast recovery, opening in November their services to international tourism.
