The Kenyan minister told the National News Agency (AIN) that the Cuban public health system has had great development worldwide, and he wants to acquire experiences and analyze possible collaboration in that sphere.

In his six-day stay in the Caribbean nation, Anyang Nyong will learn about the family doctor and nurse program, and others to train professionals in the sector.

Also on the list is to visit the "Hermanos Ameijeiras" Clinical and Surgical Hospital, the "Pando Ferrer" Ophthalmologic Institute, the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, the "Pedro Kouri" Tropical Medicine Institute, and the Pharmaceutical Biological Labs LABIOFAM.

The visitor is part of the delegation that will lead Moses Wetang'ula, Foreign Minister of that African nation, who will arrive in the island coming hours.
