The Cuban exhibition in this fair was inaugurated on Wednesday by Tourism Vice Minister Maria Elena Lopez Reyes, who offered updated information about the most recent achievements of Cuba in the tourism sector, its importance for the economic development of the country and the renovation and development of its capacities and offers.

Speaking to tour-operators, travel agencies, specialized media and other participants, the Cuban official announced the inauguration later this month of an office of Cuban tourism promotion in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.

During the fair, the Cuban participating firms will present some of their products and services.

The event is also serving to promote the 10th Biennial Fair of Plastic Arts of Havana, which will take place next March.
