Fuerza y compas, first to merge Spanish and Cuban folklore, has been enriched for the tour.

The company will also stage in February at the Karl Marx Theater a short version of its recent production, Vida, a sound success among critics and the public.

The program comprehends, among others, segments of El despertar espiritual, El amor, La nueva era, La entrega y La Celebracion.

The company was among four invited to Canada´s International Conference on Stage Arts CINARS 2008, where it premiered Vida which local critics rated among the year´s five best shows.

Founded in 1999 as Iberian Dances, the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba repertoire includes Alas (2006) and Elementos (2002).
