The first International Encounter of Documentary filmmakers, sponsored by the Department on Documentary Filmmaking of Cinema and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) led by Australian Russell Porter, the first of its kind, to be headquartered in Cuba.

Sources from the organizing committee confirmed to Prensa Latina the participation of professionals like US Tom Weiber, Brazilian Miguel Silveira, British Michael Chanan, Serbian Goran Radovanovic and Argentine Miguel Perez.

Others like Australian David Bradbury and Cuban (Puri) Faget, accompanied by other documentary filmmakers of the island, students and professors from EICTV.

The work sessions will take place on Jan. 19-20
