Exhibition Pequeño Planeta to unite children from Cuba, Canada and the United States

During the opening, Bandaranaike Torres Viltres, specialist from the Workshop, talked about the meaning of promoting a pictorial project done by children, who use visual arts in order to send their message to the world, in defense of the environment.
Ernesto Joel, in the name of the provincial direction for Culture, congratulated the initiative, and before that Tamayo had talked about the effort of seven artists from Santiago, headed by Jorge Luis Chávez; Vivian Lozano, José Armando Medina, Israel Tamayo, Jorge Knight and Miguel .Ángel Lobaina, as well as two artists from Camaguey.
The exhibition will be opened for the whole month of January in the ST gallery from the Cultural Workshop, in the Vista Alegre neighborhood.
Many children from Santiago assisted to the opening event in the Luis Díaz Oduardo.
Together with the cultural institution from Santiago, there are also in the Pequeño Planeta the District School Board of Niagara, from Canada; the BRIC Rotunda Gallery, Brooklyn, from the United States and the Galería Larios, in the Cuban province of Camaguey, where the exhibition will be hold next February.
