The research, which will be presented by Jose Ortiz Bru, representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Cuba, deals about issues regarding social participation in culture and one of its expressions par excellence: consumption.

It is a major contribution to understanding the link between culture and society in Cuba through an integral approach to analyze the fragmentations of Cuban society, expressed at its different levels of cultural consumption.

The book will be of great interest for experts and researchers who wish to go into the peculiarities of the Cuban people's cultural behavior, as well as the impact on cultural programs.
