After the opening session, the specialized groups moved to the corresponding ministries and institutions to debate accords discussed to the highest level since 1991.
There are some expectations that joint projects can be firmed up in the field of the economic-trade and bank-financial relations.
A promising sector is that of oil and electricity, where both parties have repeatedly fostered cooperation, Belkis Barnet, secretary of the Commission by Cuba, told Prensa Latina.
Other branches that have advanced in the last few years are automobile, railway, naval and civil aviation transportation, tourism, information technology, and communication.
As co-presidents of this group are Russian Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, Francisco Machado, Cuban assistant director of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, and Deputy Transportation Minister Eduardo Rodriguez.
Also on the list are top executives from companies Gaz, Kamaz, Energotecnologia, Autovaz, Tractors Consortium, the Federal Space Agency, and the United Technology and Naval Construction Company.
