According to the agreement, bilateral cooperation in this sector will focus on the exchange of experiences in areas such as primary health care, prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases, mother-child health care, and training of human resources.

Cuba and Serbia will also work together in the scientific research, production and commercialization of biological, pharmaceutical and medical products.

Milosavljevic stressed that this new agreement opens a new door to the fruitful and traditional cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Balaguer expressed his satisfaction with the new cooperation agreement that, he said, would benefit both nations.
